Erty, I really don’t know if I understand this. I really like the art style. Your use of negative space is really cool, and the dialogue you’ve introduced reminds me a lot of the early XKCD comics, but I’m left asking the question, “so what?” Why is this occurring? I’ve already read six panels of this and three panels describing it and I still don’t know what it’s about. That said, I want to see what else you come up with for this comic.
Looking back, I totally agree. I really made these to experiment with a new art style and a different cast of characters. Plus, it’s more than two comics a week – I guess some of these are going for quantity rather than quality.
I actually have a comic featuring Sam (although now I realize it should be you) planned that criticizes the comic and points out that I pretty much steal one of the main motifs from a certain comic strip *cough*calvinandhobbes*cough* but you’ll have to wait for the arc to finish for that.
